A Gift to Me

It’s the dragon year again (since I was 12). Today I sat in the train and encountered a person who was dressed shabbily. I never believed in appearances and the power or image they convey. Appearances is marketing. If you appear as a slob, you are perceived to have a slob attitude toward life. I’m going to get up everyday at a decent hour and spend ~ 20 seconds in front of the mirror after I finish eating lunch to make sure I look ok. I don’t necessarily need makeup, but the image I present to the world is “I don’t care. I don’t want to be here.” Second, I’m going to floss after every meal which will make me a flosser and not a snacker.
