Assorted is a favorite word of mine used in the context of, well anything really.
Things I like/to work on:
-sauces (the new thing for me) post tasting Boar’s Head remoulade and other sauces
-cheese: current favorite– Pecorino Romano
-teas: tea infused foods (got excited when I visited Argo Tea)
-pistachio/nut infused things: e.g. pistachio macarons (they were delicious– current feeling towards macarons- yummy but maybe not worth the time making them. get back to me on that).
>>In short, infusing non-trad foods into traditional foods.
-gestalt: making the sum of things greater than the individual components (working on in food, and in life)
-sprezzatura: and then some (life, generally)
-humor: NPR has new favorite. Good way of dealing with life.
